ÆTĦR is a sound experience studio founded by Stéphane Clément and Adam Lamoureux, born from a shared belief that sound has the power to shape how moments are felt and remembered. What began as a desire to reimagine the role of sound in hospitality has evolved into a broader practice that supports brands, designers, and cultural teams across digital, experiential, and spatial projects.
Our perspective has been shaped through relationships within Michelin‑star hospitality and design‑led brand environments, where sound must feel intentional, understated, and aligned with the emotional tone of the space. That discipline informs everything we create, from luxury listening experiences and custom playlists to original sound environments for digital content, activations, and curated spaces.
At its core, ÆTĦR is driven by a commitment to storytelling. We craft sonic worlds that deepen atmosphere, support narrative flow, and create experiences that resonate long after they're heard.
Adam Lamoureux is an acclaimed saxophonist and film composer based in New York City. In addition to co-founding ÆTĦR, his work has been featured at the New York Film Festival and alongside icons like Whoopi Goldberg.
Stéphane Clément is a German-Haitian trumpeter, producer, and artist based in New York. He co-founded Ressonnance and ÆTĦR, creating immersive sound experiences for luxury and art spaces worldwide.
"Fine dining is an ever-evolving art form that is focused on giving diners a unique and luxurious experience. Restaurants constantly experiment with their food, drinks, decor and hospitality to achieve this, but always seem to skimp on the auditory aspects. As someone who has dined in 20+ Michelin starred restaurants, I have never thought that the music choice fits the ambience. ÆTĦR is attempting to fix what is in my opinion, the biggest oversight in the fine dining industry by creating soundtracks that are specially designed to enhance and elevate the specific restaurant. This addition will make the overall experience much more special and will add something new and exciting to a formula that is becoming monotonous."
